Welcome to Frederica Presbyterian Church!
We extend a cordial welcome to each of you as we gather for worship at Frederica Presbytertian Church! If you are a visitor or a newcomer, we extend a special welcome to you. If you do not have a church home nearby, we would love to have you as a part of this church family. Rev. Chambers will be happy to discuss this with you.

September 8th: Adult Fall Bible Study begins.
October 21st: Appalachia Mision to Chavies, KY in Perry County - four-day trip. Those signed up to go are Becky Blalock, Rhonda Hicks, Richard Wood, Pastor Andy, Zack Taylor, Leslie DeGolian and Donna Naylor.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Back on schedule!
Wells Kilgore is facilitating a class using the internet curriculum "The Wired World" to discuss current events in Fellowship Hall.
Brenda Hollis leads a class through the book of Acts in the parlor.
Bill and Lollie Raulerson are teaching the children in grades K-5 using the "We Believe" curriculum.
Mary Kilgore Bryson is the new nursery director for our pre-school children. They are also using the "We Believe" curriculum.
ADULT FALL BIBLE STUDY: Beginning on september 8th: Led by Pastor Andy on Wednesday nights 7-8 pm, Adult Crossings is a unique Bible overview. It explores what many scholars consider eight core stories of the Bible. This is what theologian Walter Brueggemann calls "the primal narrative--that most simple, elemental, and non-negotiable story line that lies at the heart of bibical faith." The stories include:
1. God's Call
2. The Exodus
3. Sinai Covenant
4. Promised Land
5. Davidic Rule
6. Jesus' Life
7. The Cross
8. Resurrection Life
By Studying these ancient stories we can begin to see how God continues to act, here and now, in us and through us. Please email Pastor Andy to sign up, or simply tell him. Cost is $15 to help cover materials. We will meet weekly on Wednesday nights 7-8 pm in Fellowship Hall. See you there!
MEN'S MORNING OUT: Men's Morning Out continues at 8am on Tuesdays with a continental breakfast and a lively, enlightening and thought-provoking dialogue. The group has begun a new study and discussion led by Pastor Andy based on the lectionary Readings from PC(USA), which can be found at PC(USA). The sessions are open to men of all ages. We hope to see you Tuesday mornings!
FAMILY ACTIVITIES: Thanks to our very energetic pastor's wife, Neile, weekly events are planed through July and August for our young families with children for summer fun and outreach. Every one is invited, so grandparents can come along as well. Check out our new Family Activities page.
